Peter Poulsen is Partner in Copenhagen and a member of Amrop's Global Leadership Practice, with strong leadership and industrial experience within Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Shipping, Employer Associations, Conventional Retail, E-Commerce and Hospitality.

Besides providing a strong Search offering, Peter is spearheading Amrop Denmark's Leadership Services and work with both private and public organizations to develop successful and winning organizations and leaders by aligning Strategy, Leadership and Talent. Peter has with his 12 years of CXO experience across some of the largest and most recognized companies in Denmark a reputation as being a highly competent and visionary Leader, Mentor and Sparring partner for Executives and Talents.


Over the years, Peter has developed a deep and specialized understanding of organizational culture, human behavior, change management, talent management and Leadership Assessment and how to use these tools to gain competitive advantage and/or minimize risk and exposure.


Peter has a broad and deep understanding of assessment methods ranging from Assessment Centers, 360 Degree and various psychometric testing tools. Peter holds certifications from the most recognized and used assessment providers globally e.g. Hogan (HPI, HDS, MVPI and HBRI), Cubriks (PAPI and Logiks), SHL (OPQ32 and Verify), Predictive Index (PI and PLI).


Before joining Amrop, Peter served in Executive Human Resources roles in the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group and Salling Group and has successfully led several large organizational transformation projects across multinational organizations.


Peter served as Second Chairman in the The Danish Chamber of Commerce (Dansk Erhverv) for 5 years gaining substantial Board experience and insight into Employer Associations and Politics.

Peter holds two degrees from Aalborg University; a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration and an industrial Ph.D. in Organizational Change & Strategy at LEGO.
